About Our Practice

Cure Podiatry & Wound Care provides quality Podiatric care in a family friendly setting. A big part of our practice is not only to diagnose and treat but also to educate patients and their families. Our friendly and compassionate doctor and staff listen and relate to patients needs and provide excellent foot and ankle care. We will work closely with the patient’s primary care doctor, vascular, infectious disease, and other specialists to formulate the best course of treatment.

Dr. Sahar Mahzoon

Board Certified Podiatrist

Dr. Mahzoon is an ABPM Board Certified Podiatrist with extensive experience in wound care. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mahzoon completed a four-year Podiatric Medicine and surgery residency at St Barnabas Hospital in New York where she served as Chief resident in a highly demanding program. Her training included reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and foot and ankle trauma at a level-1 trauma center. Additionally, Dr. Mahzoon is certified in foot and ankle arthroscopy.

Dr. Mahzoon was a speaker at the New York Clinical Conference in 2019 and has Six published Abstracts in Compendium of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2012 and 2013.

In her spare time Dr. Mahzoon is a children’s book author and published her first book in 2020. She also enjoys baking, painting, going on hikes and spending time with her family and friends.
